Many of you were probably as surprised as I was to learn that Ron Paul was sort of dropping his campaign for the GOP nomination. Super Tuesday Tomorrow

With Newt Gingrich fallen from his star Romney-competitor status, it looks like Super Tuesday is going to be all about Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum (except in Georgia where Gingrich has a preliminary lead). National polls place the two neck-in-neck, but Romney receiving endorsements by people like Eric Cantor (House Majority Leader) could be a sign that the Republican party is finally starting to coalesce behind one of the candidates. Who would have thought, even just two months ago, that as we near crunch time in the GOP race for the nomination, that it would be Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich, and Ron Paul battling it out in a few key states. While Paul isn’t as popular as Gingrich or Romney in as many states, his name is still coming up enough that he’s not out of the race yet. Continue reading →
