Believed to be the first domesticated animal, their roots are traced back to Canis lupus, more commonly known as the grey wolf. Pictures of the Week: National Puppy Day
Somebody needs to come up with a way to freeze dog’s growth so that they remain puppies. Seriously, there could not be anything cuter that a little butterball called a golden retriever puppy. And who could hold a grudge against a young Bassett Hound chewing on your shoelace (see below)? They are often round and fluffy and full of love. Maybe not always so well behaved, but when they look at you with their sweet puppy-dog eyes, it’s easy to forgive whatever crime they’re guilty of.
