My family once vacationed on the beautiful island of Nantucket, with friends of ours when I was about eleven years old. It became one of our favorite destinations and a place that we thought very highly of. So much so, that my mother even named the family dog, who we got only months after our visit, Tucket (true story). But what was there not to like about the island? It’s small, quaint and filled with history. It’s the kind of place where you hop on your bike in the morning head down to the beach and stay, feet planted in the sand, all day long.
