Sometimes cleaning can be stress relieving. Who hasn’t viciously scrubbed down the bathroom at odd hours of the morning after having a huge fight with another person? However if you’re anything like me, usually cleaning causes way more stress than it helps. I’ve been known to vacuum up an inappropriately solid object and bleach things that, well, probably just shouldn’t be bleached. Consequently, I can’t say that I’ve ever done the whole “spring cleaning” thing in my life.
That’s not to say that the tradition itself doesn’t make sense. Usually spring cleaning takes place on the first warm day of the year. After being couped up inside for several months, maybe the sudden burst of energy warm weather invariably brings is supposed to be helpful with all that organizing and scrubbing. And when its all over, your house is sparkling clean. Perhaps rainbows with burst out of your toilet?

Ok so maybe that is expecting a bit much. But it would so make the stress associated with cleaning 100% worth it. I wonder if the people in these next few pictures feel the same way.
