Sloths are so in right now.
Perhaps I only like them because growing up my mother called me a sloth almost every Saturday afternoon that I can remember – I can totally relate with a creature that likes to sleep for 10 hours a day. Or perhaps I just like them because I’m drawn to creatures that look like they’re perpetually smiling.
Or perhaps they’re just so stinking cute and the world is just now realizing this.
This video makes my heart melt every time I see it. And when they make their little noises, I may or may not have squealed in the past. The video shows several orphaned baby sloths along with other injured ones that have been rescued and taken to the world’s only sloth orphanage, the Sloth Sanctuary of Costa Rica.
We have a couple pictures on Newscom showing some of the sloths from the sanctuary. And we also have more pictures of totally awesome sloths from all over the world. So check out the pictures in this post, then head back to Newscom to see more pictures of sloths.
You know you want one. Don’t you?
