Well it’s probably a good thing the athletes of the Olympics don’t get judged on the faces the make (except by us, the viewers at home) during the execution of their sport. Because the camera certainly can capture them making some pretty interesting expressions… I’m sure the candidates of this past year’s election race can relate…
My observation has been that if you’re diving, or dancing in the water, you’re guaranteed to make some of the worst faces ever. Of course, concentration for the athletes must be so high that no thought is given to what face they are making. And who really cares if you aren’t earning or receiving deductions on what expression you’re expressing?
All I can say is thank goodness those photographers are there to catch the in between moments. They have a way of making you laugh, cry and cringe. Possibly all at the same time. So be sure to check out all the images we have back at Newscom of the 2012 Olympic athletes pulling some funny faces.
