There is nothing more beautiful than photos taken in nature. It must be why so many couples opt to take engagement photos in the great outdoors. Because no matter how aesthetically pleasing a man-made construction is, it will never compare to what is created naturally on this earth.  Which is why nature has been the backdrop for many photographers, and how we can even have a Nature Photography Day.

Today, June 15th, has been set aside by the North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA) to promote the enjoyment of nature photography. Images of the environment are cause to preserve and protect this earth. How can you look at something so beautiful and agree with chopping it down or polluting its air? That reasoning is why the NANPA are so motivated in supporting Nature Photography Day, because they know the effects photography has on people.

Fortunately at Newscom we have many stunning images of the world around us. Last year we featured breathtaking nature photos and this year we have even more to share. It’s our abundance of such images that have had us so eager to show them off in our Around the World and Nature and the Environment posts.

So go out with a camera today if you can and capture what strikes your eye. And if you can’t make it out, then I strongly suggest you take a look at some of these amazing photos of nature that we have back at Newscom.
