When I see images of the great outdoors, my heart aches to travel to those places. Seriously, there are some absolutely beautiful places in the world. And many of those places will be free to visit this upcoming week…
April 21st to the 29th is National Park Week. So it’s a perfect time to put on some hiking shoes and grab a camelbak and pretend to be a nature enthusiast for a day or two (that’s always my attitude until I realize being outdoorsy means no showering sometimes and bugs…). But really, who can beat fresh air, pretty scenery and some good old fashion fun. Park Service Director Johathan B. Jarvis believes that “All 397 national parks are great places to get some exercise while taking in spectacular scenery or learning something new.”
Hopefully you’re not forced to learn something like how to outrun a mountain lion…
If you can’t make it out for National Park Week, that’s too bad. But thankfully Newscom has all the pictures you need to see the beautiful sites in nature. So check out these images (and the more we have back at Newscom) of National Parks.
