Amidst all the speculation of who would be cast as Finnick Odair in the next Hunger Games movie, Catching Fire, it looks as if Sam Claflin has landed the coveted role. Although up against some big names, including Robert Pattinson, the hardly known actor will get his biggest role to date playing the Hunger Game’s victor from District 4. However this is not Sam Claflin’s first time in a major film.
You may recognize Sam from Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides where he played Philip, a young man in love with a mermaid. His latest film was Snow White and the Huntsman where he starred alongside Kristen Stewart. After looking at so many pictures that we have of him on Newscom, I have to wonder why Kristen didn’t go after him instead of Rupert Sanders … Not that I encourage cheating at all, but I mean, Sam Claflin looks really good in a suit… just saying.
But I guess it may have been Sam’s fidelity to his actress girlfriend Laura Haddock that has women keeping their hands off the handsome star. He makes it very clear about his feelings towards her, as they like to pack on the PDA in public… sigh.
