When I went to see The Three Musketeers last year, it was hard not to notice the actor who played Aramis. He was brooding and sultry. And next to Orlando Bloom’s bizarre interpretation of his character, Luke Evans seemed to have real talent. And Hollywood too, may be taking note of his acting abilities.
The release of his latest movie, The Raven, is set to open tomorrow (Friday the 27th) and although it isn’t getting rave reviews (pun intended) the actor has a few other projects up his sleeve that are bound to do well in the box office. One being the highly anticipated Hobbit movie, which is sure to have the actor making a lot of appearances over the next year. And who could complain when he’s easy on the eyes and a total sweetheart? Google any interview with him and you’ll see why.
However with his name appearing more in full force, people who recognize the actor from his earlier works, question his recent silence about his sexual preference. Evans who was openly gay in the early stages of his career, no longer comments on his personal life as candidly. Many speculate that the pressures of Hollywood and keeping up with appearances have caused his silence. Hopefully this isn’t the case, and that people can focus on his career instead of speculating his personal life.
