She is currently starring in the new remake/reboot of the once popular television show, Dallas. And although she may not have a household name she should look familiar. The Brazilian beauty has been in almost every single Fast and Furious movie as part of the original cast alongside Vin Diesel and Paul Walker. Which if you have not seen those movies, I have to strongly suggest you do. They are wildly entertaining… at least the last one was… it’s the only one I can really remember clearly. But the actress that I am talking about is Jordana Brewster.
She has an interesting international background. Born in Panama City, Panama, Jordana moved to London when she was just 2 months old, and after 6 years moved back to Rio de Janeriro, Brazil, where her mother is originally from. And if you were wondering where Jordana got her striking good looks, her mother is a former Sports Illustrated swimsuit model from Brazil (talk about good genes).
So how did Jordana break into acting? She spent her teen years living in Manhattan, New York, and appeared on the day-time soap opera All My Children. She then got a movie break in the film The Falculty, which lead to her role in The Fast and The Furious. Oh and did I mention she was doing all these movies while attending Yale University and getting B.A. in English? Yea, true story.
