Soccer superstar David Beckham has decided to end his 20 year professional career at the end of the Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) season. Beckham will play two final games for PSG May 18th against Brest and at Lorient May 26th. The announcement came four days after PSG captured the Ligue 1 title giving Beckham a league title in four counties, a first for an English player. Despite Beckham no longer competing on the pitch fans, will still get plenty of Beckham and his family in the fashion world. Continue reading →

Baseball is a game of adjustments, batters adjusting to pitchers and defenses making changes to batters. Mariano Rivera has been one exception, making a career using one pitch that everyone knew was coming but no one could consistently hit. Hockey fans had to wait a lot longer for NHL games this year following another lockout, but once the players returned to the ice, the fans were quickly reminded why they wanted the game back so badly. The interviews, the bench press, the Wonderlic test, and the pressure-packed 40-yard dash are all over and all that is left for the top NFL prospects is to see what team they will get a chance to play for come the fall. This year’s draft is considered to be a deep one but for some fans it lacks luster as there is no wide receivers, no running backs and only one quarterback in the top ten as draft day nears.
