This by far has to be one of the most fun resolutions for people. Who doesn’t want to spend more time with their friends? Unless of course your friends are lame… and hopefully that’s not the case. And if that is the case, maybe one of your New Year Resolution’s should be to get new friends (like the people in the above photo. They seem awesome. I mean, they’re having a dinner party in a field for heaven’s sake). This resolution is unlike eating healthy and working out, where you might find it a struggle to keep because naturally you would like to curl up on the couch after work and watch re-runs of something like Kourtney and Kim Take New York rather than go to the gym. And maybe it takes great effort to not buy Double Stuf Oreos and instead force your shopping cart into the produce section far away from the cookie aisle. These also just may be my own personal struggles…
However I am sure that no matter what the downfall may be, there are very few people out there who find exercise and dieting easy and all that enjoyable… Friends, on the other hand are enjoyable. They are the people who you can laugh with, cry with, and ask an honest opinion from. Sometimes life gets the best of us, and because of responsibilities, our job, or other so-called “priorities,” we don’t make the time to have fun with our friends. It’s ridiculous not to, especially when they can help us reduce stress levels (another popular new year’s resolution).
