It was probably my longing for the beach that drew me to these images. I love to be down the shore, and as content as I am sprawled out on the sand with a good book for hours, I most enjoy being in the water. And as nerve wrecking as it is to be in rough water, big waves can only make the experience more fun. As a kid there is something hilarious (and terrifying) about being knocked over by waves repeatedly, to the point that you are gasping for breath in between each hit. However, I can’t imagine trying to ride these waves… But people do it and here at Newscom we have some stunning images of waves and the people who ride them.
Where there is ocean, there are waves, whether you are vacationing on in the Virgin Islands, or the Galapagos. And with a waterproof camera in tow, photographers can capture the beautiful movement of one of the largest bodies of water. Waves can be for the pleasure of a popular sport and can also cause devastation but they most certainly make for some breathtaking pictures.
So be sure to check out all the images we have at Newscom of waves!
